These things don’t make motherhood easy per say, These things don’t make motherhood easy per say, but they definitely make my days go a little smoother.

A loose rhythm for our week.
Closing the kitchen at night.
Getting outside even when I don’t feel like it.
Remembering that my children are image bearers of God.
And spending time with Him before I try to pour into anyone else.

None of this is groundbreaking. It’s just what has been helping me lately.
Boaz here is making sure the eggs are okay to eat… for himself anyway
having chickens might be my favorite thing ever 🐓

When your body is run down, it needs gentle, intentional care. Instead of pushing through, try these simple ways to support your body’s healing process

Warm, nourishing soups – Easy to digest and packed with nutrients to fuel recovery.

Detox baths – A warm soak with Epsom salts or clay helps pull out toxins and ease tension.

Lots of warm tea & broths – Hydration is key! Herbal teas and bone broth provide minerals and immune support.

Only low lights & red lights – Reduce blue light exposure to support deep rest and melatonin production.

Dry brushing – Stimulate your lymphatic system to help flush out toxins and improve circulation.

Reading instead of scrolling – Give your mind a break from overstimulation and let your body truly rest.

Healing isn’t just about what you take, but how you rest. Slow down, nourish yourself, and let your body do what it was designed to do.
